LOHA Activities: Practical Tools for Stronger Families

LOHA includes a set of 38 interactive, family-friendly activities that help build:

  • Emotional connection

  • Self-awareness

  • Resilience

  • Communication

  • Compassion and empathy

Each activity is based on psychological principles and aligned with the TRUCE framework (Trust, Resilience, Understanding, Connection, Empathy).

🛠️ Key Features of LOHA Activities

  • Flexible – Each one takes between 5–20 minutes

  • Inclusive – Suitable for all ages, especially for carers and young people

  • Guided – Step-by-step instructions make it easy to follow

  • Customisable – Can be done at your own pace, on your own terms

  • Repeatable – Activities can be revisited as needed

📲 How do LOHA activities work?

You can:

  • Read them on your phone or tablet

  • Nominate someone to read aloud or take turns reading

  • Screencast to a TV so everyone can follow along

  • Use pen and paper for writing prompts, drawings, or notes

👉 If someone in the family isn’t ready to join in, that’s okay. You can continue without them, and let them know they’re welcome to join later.
